A Little About My Car

Enter Text

The car you’ll be taking your driving lessons in is a manual, 5 door Small SUV.

A 1.6 litre diesel, Kia Stonic 3

GETTING STARTED

This car is a great car to learn to drive in as it's very comfortable and will help you feel at home straight away. The seats, steering wheel and mirrors all adjust easily too so you’ll find a good, safe driving position with ease, whether big or small, short or tall.

The controls are light and easy to use making every movemenet smooth and pricise and the pedals arent too heavy either.

Although the Stonic has the appearnace of a large car once your sat in it it is very decieving, the low seating positon, unlike most other "mini SUV's" isn't much different from the car I used prior to it, the small DS3.

MANOEUVRES

One of the best things about learning to drive in the Stonic is how easily it can be maneuvered.

IThere's clear visability all round thanks to the slim front door pillars and although the rear pillars are thick, the big rear screen makes it very easy to see clearly and to accurately judge the size and positon of the car.

The Stonic has a tight turning circle too so reversing, parking in bays and parallel parks are all very easy manouevres.

ON THE MOVE

Due to the clear all round visibity, ease of control and comfort mentioned above, my Kia Stonic is a great car to take your driving lessons in and ideal for sitting your test too.

The Stonic’s 6 speed gear box, combined with a positive clutch pedal, a well-defined biting point and progressive brakes, make smooth driving a breeze for even the most ham-fisted of drivers.      Whatcar.com

SAFETY

The Stonic is fitted with 6 airbags, hill start assist, stability control and a variety of Advanced Driving Assistance Systems, including Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning which all contribute towards its

One of the most agile small SUVs you can buy, responding surprisingly eagerly to steering inputs and staying upright through corners that would see a Capture or C3 Aircross tipping over onto it’s door handles
